Hi everyone , I am selling my xxxx Corvette
Stingray that I purchased some 20 years ago. It is in excellent shape considering it's age of 40 years and has 182,256 original well maintained miles on it and only 20,000 on the new Chevrolet dealer installed *ZZ4 motor. I am going to be moving and will no longer have the garage space for this automobile any longer. It is a fabulous car that runs great and has no mechanical problems, and at a great value and I have priced it to sell. As listed I have a lot of extras that will go with this black beauty. Truly there should be no disappointments.  On the Dyno at nearly 375 horses it has all the horse power of a big block with out all the extra front end weight. Brand new Cooper tires and new carpet so the interior is nice too. A real head turner and neck snaper. A perfect forty year old eight foot car with no problems, that runs on pump gas with out any octane booster; Looks, horse power, reliability and dependability makes this car a real winner!
 
Overall Condition: Overall, this xxxx Corvette is in excellent driver condition and is priced right; It's a mostly original xxxx Corvette Stingray Automatic, T-Tops, power windows, power brakes power steering with tilt / Tele wheel. The car looks good, runs well, and is a ton of fun. The Original Rally wheels keep the car looking genuine and the Cooper Cobra tires are brand new. The interior over all looks very good. This car turns heads and gets lots of attentions wherever it goes.
Powered by ZZ4 High Output 350 High Performance V8 engine, Turbo 400 automatic transmission. This Stingray runs and drives excellent, Car is nice and tight and handles great and is very fast.
Very beautiful car with only a very few minor paint issues as pictured but are really hard for the camera to pick up.
Interior is clean and looks very nice.
Engine compartment is clean and looks good.
Power windows, lights and headlights are all in working order.
With the exception of the air conditioning and the clock everything works great, Tach works , but was disconnected to instill an Performance HEI distributor.
Exterior:
The body was originally white and later repainted Tuxedo Black before I bought the car and the black exterior paint still looks great and is in very presentable driver condition. As one can see in the photos the finish has nice gloss, deep shine, and smooth finish.
Both sets of the T tops ( fiber glass & Smoked glass) are in very excellent condition. The chrome bumpers and other bight work on the car show well for the most part. There are no major imperfections that have been intestinally excluded from the photos. There are some very small cracks and other blemishes that were too faint to show up in photos, but nothing that is really stands out from five to eight feet away. The paint job has some age and blemishes, which is evident in the photos. I have done my best to accurately and objectively photograph the car and show the flaws, but some are too small or cannot be picked up by the camera. One should really view the car in person to get the best and most accurate idea of what the car really looks like. For the most part however, the car looks in person as it does in the photos. There is one barley noticeable little chip in the windshield on the passengers side, but doe not hamper the drivers view so does not really need to be replaced.
Mechanical
It's in great mechanical condition shape. Motor is relatively new and it runs great. Excellent oil pressure and runs cool. Pulls strong. I had the transmission and brakes completely and professionally redone through out the years that I have owned this car, The transmission shifts smoothly throughout the power band. and stops great. The car starts right away every time, idles well, with a little lope, runs and drives well and it is smooth on the road and at highway speeds. There are no issues that immediately affect the drivability of the car. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. With the ZZ4 motor Dyno'ed at 385 horses this Corvette has plenty of power and is very fast.
The headlights work and the vacuum for the headlights works as they pop up with the headlight switch or override switch as they should. The only known issues are the air conditioning, that I bypassed, the tach I disconnected, and the windshield washers. There may be other troubles with the car that I don't know about or have possibly overlooked so I would suggest that the buyer inspect the car in person, if possible.
This car is still an enormous pleasure to drive, especially with the t-tops off on a nice day.
I also have the original numbers matching 350 on a stand ready for restoring.
Interior
While I have owned the car I freshened up the interior. Installed new carpet, had the seats rebuilt with new springs, foam and new seat upholstery.
I just installed a new a front carpet set again last week so the carpet is in excellent condition with no stains, rips, or holes. The Oxblood interior is really in pretty decent overall condition.
The seats look as good in person just as they do in the photos and show very little wear with no slits, tears, or split seams. They are not overly worn in the typical areas such as where the driver gets in and out.
The dash is perfect with only some slight fading no splits or major sun damage at all.
 
This car is totally beautiful and usable in its current condition and turns heads every where it goes and it actually drives quite well especially for a 40 year old car. The car only needs some TLC overall to be perfect.
 
This is about to be 40 year old car and is not completely restored, But a Great Car for the money.
